Installation Instructions for 15" Pedestal

EXCESSIVE WEIGHT HAZARD
Two or more people may be required to move and
install the washer & dryer onto pedestals.
Failure to comply may cause back or other injury.
Tools Needed:
Level
9/16" Open end wrench
#2 Phillips screwdriver
NOTE: If the washer or dryer were previously
installed, disconnect power cord from outlet, inlet
hoses from water faucets and exhaust duct from
dryer. Tape the drain hose to the top of the
washer to prevent water running out on the floor.

Remove the installation hardware from the
plastic bag.
14 #10 Screws
2 Rear Brackets
2 Front Brackets
2 Front Spacer Plates
(for some models)

On Washer models with METAL LOCK
NUTS on the leveling legs, remove lock nuts
from the leveling legs before installing the
washer on the pedestal. Bracket mounting
holes will not align with lock nuts in place.
After removing the lock nuts, reinstall the
leveling legs and make sure they are threaded
fully into the washer base.
A. Remove
lock nuts
from each
washer leg

On washer or dryer models with PLASTIC
LEVELING LEGS, make sure the leveling
legs are threaded fully into the base.
Turn plastic leveling legs
tight to the base

Identify your product type from items 4.a
and 4.b and attach the appropriate front and
rear brackets to the pedestal with eight
#10 screws (2 per bracket) as illustrated.
