method of wearing an orthopaedic aid and if you have the following conditions:
• Allergic, inflammatory or lesion-specific skin alterations (e.g. welling,reddening)
of the body areas being treated.
• Impaired circulation or lymphatic soft tissue swelling.
siDE-EFFECTs
• With proper use and proper fitting, so far there have been no reports of serious
general side-effects.
• Local pressure symptoms and impaired circulation can be prevented with
sufficient certainty on an individual basis if allowance is made for any
contraindications and with non-restricting consistently shaped body fitting.
DETERMininG siZE: BAsiC VERsiOn
The correct size is determined as follows:
1) Measure the circumference of the ankle around the malleoli (figure A).
2) Find the corresponding size in the table below.

FiTTinG THE BAsiC VERsiOn
The Foot-Up basic version can only be positioned and used in lace-up shoes.
• Detach the inlay from the ankle strap by pressing the button in the middle of
the quick-acting closure.
• Apply the ankle strap with the narrow Velcro strip at the botttom and the
quickacting closure at the front. In doing this place the ankle strap above the
widest part of the ankle. Fasten the ankle strap tightly, but do not constrict the
ankle (figure B).
• Place the inlay between the tongue and the shoelaces. Then pull the elastic
strap between the two lace lines (figure C). By pulling the inlay further in the
direction of the front of the foot more support is provided when raising the
