1. General Instructions
The general instructions for storage systems, material no. 103041, in the current version, must be observed.
National standards and safety regulations must be observed.
2. Special Instructions
Area of the grating must remain free as shown on the type label.
3. Use and intended purpose
The storage system is used for the safe storage of, and dispensing from, drums of up to 200 l capacity and
KTC´s (cubic tank containers).
Only store substances to which the material of the sump is resistant.

4. Technical description
The MC depot is manufactured from following components:
stable steel sheet construction, galvanized
-
lockable wing doors
-
hot dip galvanized grid shelves.

sump manufactured from RSt 37-2 (Wst no. 1.0038) steel
-
100 mm space between the base and the floor to prevent corrosion
-
non-explosion rated heater, temperature adjustable from +5 to +30 °C
-
Assembly insulated using non-flammable materials (optional)

Installed in the plant
5. Assembly
Point of use
The ground must be level and suitable to secure the storage system to.

The storage system needs to be secured to a concrete floor, which complies with DIN 1045.

The storage system can be stored inside and outside.

The storage system should not be accessible to unauthorised personnel..

Assembly
The storage system must be completely level before it securing it to the floor using foot plates. Mark and drill
holes on the floor, tilt the storage system to the side and drill holes in the foot plates. Lower the storage sys-
tem over the drill holes and secure it in place using heavy duty screws and square washers.

7. Operation
After opening the doors the drums can be placed in the storage system using suitable equipment.
When storing combustible fluids comply with the fire and explosion protection regulations!
Check drums are positioned safely and secure to prevent falling over or down!
Only store drums horizontally on drum stands!
Safe filling is possible over the collecting sump.
Access to the storage system by unauthorised persons is prohibited!
