Analog earth & insulation tester
3 – check that there is no voltage
set the rotary switch to ACV (AC Voltage measurement).
the voltage present is then automatically indicated on the ACV scale of the
galvanometer.
IMPORTANT:
If this measurement indicates that a voltage is present, you CANNOT
PROCEED WITH the insulation measurement.
4 – measure the insulation resistance
after checking that there is no voltage on the circuit to be tested,
set the rotary switch to INSULATION / MΩ
select the test voltage on the voltage selector (item 3).
start the test by pressing the test button and read the result on the display dial.
to carry out a stability measurement (over a longer period), press and turn the
test button.
the POWER indicator lights, indicating that a test is in progress.
