The Splitter will distribute one resolution only at one time. Resolution mode will
depend on that of the first in or the first of the sequent display devices. Make sure
your display devices are HDCP compliant and fully support HDCP.
1. When there is no picture present, please check:
• Whether all connectors connect well or not?
• Whether the connecting cable is damaged?
• Whether the HDMI-140 is reset or not?
2. How to reset output standard resolution:
• Connect all cables and reset the HDMI-140, it will automatically detect the first
port resolution to become a standard output resolution.
• Disconnect all cables and reset the HDMI-140 then plug in first cable of display
output, as the first in display will become standard resolution.
3. How to make sure your input and output device is compliant with HDMI-140?
Please check:
• Whether all devices have been identified by HDMI ATC and with HDMI formal
logo?
• Whether all devices are HDCP compliant?
• Are all HDMI cables in good quality?
• Make sure all displays support the same resolution either 720P, 1080I, 1080P.
4. When there is only a picture but no sound:
• Check your cable connection to see if it fits properly.
• Check your cable to see whether it supports video transmission only or it is has
been damaged?
• HDCP may not match very well at first connection; reset your HDMI-140 again.
• Do you connect any output to your video recorder? This is not allowed. The device
which supports HDCP will lock audio part automatically.
5. When there couldn't show resolution in 1080P?
• Make sure your sources (HD DVD Player) and displays fully support 1080P.
• Make sure your HDMI cables are approved by HDMI ATC.
