Please read all the instructions for use, and es-
pecially the safety instructions, before using the
meat thermometer for the first time. Please keep
the instructions in a safe place for future refer-
ence. If you pass on the thermometer to another
user, please give them the instructions for use
along with the product.
Basic functions
This meat thermometer is designed for measuring
the temperature or cooking level of food when
roasting. Other applications:
• Grill thermometer
• Food thermometer (e.g. for soups or baby
food)
Select the type of meat and cooking level
1. Move the function selector switch to
COOK.
2. Select your desired type of meat by pressing
down repeatedly on the
button:
BEEF > PORK > FISH > VEAL > LAMB >
CHICKEN > TURKEY > HAMBURGER >
PGM
Select "PGM" if your desired type of meat
is not there or you want to set a specific
temperature.
2. Select your desired cooking level by pressing
down repeatedly on the
button: This de-
pends on the type of meat. If you have chosen
PORK for example, the following cooking
levels are available:
WELL > M WELL > MEDIUM > M RARE.
If you have selected CHICKEN, WELL is the
only option available.
The respective fixed cooking temperature is
shown in the display under "ALERT TEMP".
Set individual temperature range
1. Select the PGM display by pressing down
repeatedly on the
button.
2. Press the
button until the temperature
flashes under "ALERT TEMP".
