• Low room temperature could affect
the accuracy of the reading;
in winter or when it is cold, check
your heart rate in a warm place.
• Measure your heart rate while
seated and relaxed and keep as still
as possible. Any movement could
affect the accuracy of the heart rate
reading.
• Because the heart rate senso-
ruses light to estimate heart rate,
itsaccuracy could be reduced by
physicalfactors that affect light
absorption and reflection, such
asblood circulation/pressure,skin
conditions, placement anddensity of
blood vessels. In addition, readings
may be inaccurate if the heart rate
is excessively high or low.
• Users with thin wrists may obtain
inaccurate heart rate readings if the
device is loose, due to the uneven
reflection of light.
