COMMISSIONING
Before the first operation
• Before first use, remove any foam from the interior and wipe the drum
with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
• Remove the black, round motor lock from the bottom of the unit. This will
prevent the motor from moving too far during transport and may damage
the unit. How to remove the motor lock is described in the next section.
• Make sure that your power supply has a voltage of 220-240 V / 50 Hz and
is properly grounded.
• Set the switch to the 0 position and open the cover.
• Plug the mains plug into the socket.
• Place a container to collect the water under the drain. It is recommended
that you do this before loading the unit, as water from wet clothing may
run off before the unit is switched on.
How to remove the motor lock
• Move the handle in the direction indicated by the arrow.
• Pull out the motor lock.
