Installation Instructions
Kitchen island hood
1. (For exhaust air ventilation) Prepare an
appropriate ventilation air channel inside the
wall/ceiling.
2. Identify the side of the hood that includes
the operating panel (it is located on the side
where the LaCornue logo is displayed).
3. To make sure your hood works at optimum
ventilation capacity, install the ventilation
hood over the center of the cooking surface
(use a perpendicular to determine the pro-
per location) and mark the central point (M)
of the tower on the ceiling.
4. Draw the positioning points for the
mounting drill holes with the assistance of
the template.
5. Drill four holes (Ø10mm) and insert dowels.
6. Screw the screws and U washers supplied
with your hood into the dowels until the
ceiling flange is flush with the ceiling. Next,
align the ceiling flange and tighten the
screws.
7. Determine the dimensions (X-Y): Define
X = distance cooking surface to ceiling and
Y = distance cooking surface to the hood.
Next, cut off the winding rods (M8) and screw
them into the winding nuts on the ceiling
flange.
