HARDWARE INSTALLATION
1. Turn off your computer,
disconnect the power
and remove its cover.
2. Remove the metal cover
plate on the back of an
available PCI slot.
3. Insert the card into the
slot and use the bracket
screws to secure it firmly in place.
4. Replace the cover on the computer.
5. Re-connect the power.
6. Connect the card to the desired network device.
NOTE: A lit LED indicates a connection at the corresponding speed (10, 100
or 1000 Mbps); a blinking LED indicates packets are being sent or received.
SETUP
1. Insert the included Setup CD in the CD-ROM drive.
2. On the desktop, click "Start, " then "Run. "
• In Windows 2000/XP/2003 — Enter "D:\PCIe\LAN\setup.exe" (where "D"
or another letter is your CD-ROM drive designation).
• In Windows Vista (32/64-bit) — Enter "D:\PCIe\LAN\Vista\setup.exe"
(where "D" or another letter is your CD-ROM drive designation).
• In Windows 7 (32/64-bit) — Enter "D:\PCIe\LAN\Win7\setup.exe"
(where "D" or another letter is your CD-ROM drive designation).
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the software installation.
