Use
Remove the packing material and check that the product is not damaged. In the event of damage, the appliance
must not be put into operation.
Clean the appliance as described in the "Cleaning and Maintenance" chapter.
Grease the cooking plates with butter, margarine or oil.
Place the appliance on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface.
Insert the plug into an electrical outlet, the operating light turns on, heat the plate for a few minutes with the lid
closed. When the operating light switch off, the product will be ready for use.
Note: during the first use, a slight odour and a little smoke may be created; all this is normal and will
disappear quickly. It is recommended to ensure adequate ventilation and if necessary open a window.
Attention: danger of scalding! During operation the surface temperature can be very high. The use
of pot holders and/or oven gloves is recommended.
Lift the lid and insert the food to be cooked in the respective slots located on the lower plate, taking care not to
exceed the upper edge of the plates, position the stick (skewer) on one side together with the dough and the
other in the appropriate slot placed on the edge of the plate.
Close the lid and wait for cooking.
The cooking time varies from 6 to 8 minutes, depending on the type of dough used and personal tastes.
After the first 2 minutes, lift the lid to check the cooking status. If the lid is raised too early and too often, there is
a risk of compromising the final result.
It is recommended to open and close the lid using only the handle.
When the cooking is completed, remove the food by holding the sticks/skewers, previously inserted. It is possible
to position the sticks/skewers even after cooking just to remove the food.
It is recommended not to use metal tools because they could damage the surface of the plates.
Disconnect the plug from the socket and let the product cool with the lid raised, then proceed with cleaning as
indicated in the appropriate paragraph.
This product can also be used to cook small sausages, the important thing is that they have the same or smaller
size of the single plate housings.
