IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Make sure that the CV boot to be mounted is soft and flexible, otherwise it will tear during
expansion. Do not expand the CV boot more than necessary.
• Always wear safety glasses and suitable working gloves when using this tool.
• Never reach between the expansion arms!
• Never exceed the max. working pressure of 8 bar.
OPERATION
1. Put the CV boot over the expansion arms (4)
of the tool. Ensure that the CV boot is firmly
seated on the expansion arms.
2. Actuate expansion valve (2) to expand the CV
boot to the required size.
3. Slide tool with expanded CV boot over drive
shaft joint.
4. Actuate the release valve (3) to close the
expansion arms (4).
5. Slide the CV boot off the released expansion
arms (4).
6. Actuate the expansion valve (2) to open the
expansion arms and pull the tool over the
drive shaft joint.
