1. Press and hold the black TEST button and hold the magnetic field detector
near the magnetic field.
2. When the blue LED in the probe illuminates the measured object is
electrically activated.
3. To activate the flash light press and hold the LED button.

8. Maintenance

Only authorized service technicians may repair the instrument.
Changing the battery(s)
If the device does not respond during the function test replace the battery.
1. Press with a small screwdriver into the hole of the clip and pull off the rear
of the housing.
2. Replace the battery. Mind the correct polarity.
3. Close the battery compartment.
4. Disposal of the flat battery should meet environmental standards.
5. Remove the battery if the device is not used for a long time.
Cleaning
If the instrument is dirty after daily usage, it is advised to clean it by using a
humid cloth and a mild household detergent. Prior to cleaning, ensure that
instrument is switched off and disconnected from external voltage supply and
any other instruments connected. Never use acid detergents or dissolvent for
cleaning.
