BEFORE FIST USE
Use
Carefully unpack the deep fryer and remove all packaging material.
Carefully wash all removable parts in warm, soapy water with a soft cloth or
sponge.
Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Before use, make sure the bowl has no trace of water as it can cause the oil to
splatter and burn while deep fryer is in use.
When washing the lid, before immersing the lid in water remove the mesh
filter.
Put all removable pieces back together.
Deep Fryer is now ready for use.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Ensuring that the deep fryer is on a safe, dry and level surface open the deep
fryer cover.
Remove the frying basket from the removable bowl.
Fill the removable bowl with cooking oil ensuring that you do not pass the
maximum oil level line (Max) and do not put less than the minimum level line
(Min) which is located on the inside of the removable bowl.
CAUTION: DO NOT under any circumstances use solid oil such as butter, margarine or
animal fat as these may cause a safety hazard.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT operate the deep fryer without oil. The deep fryer will be severely
damaged if heated dry.
At this point, still do not place the frying basket into the deep fryer.
Place the fryer lid on the deep fryer and connect the power cord to the power
supply and turn ON.
The green indicator light will turn ON when there is power and remain on
during the cooking process.
Slide the temperature control to the desired temperature.
The red indictor light will turn ON indicating that the thermostat is attempting
to reach the selected temperature.
When your selected temperature is reached the red indicator light will turn OFF
Preheating time is approximately 20 minutes.
While the oil is pre-heating prepare foods for cooking.
WARNING: To prevent the risk of personal injury or property damage, use with caution
when cooking with HOT oil.
• While the basket is out of the deep fryer and on the countertop, fill the basket
up to 2/3 full with food.
