Product description
The 8 port unmanaged L2 Ethernet switch was designed
for a network environment where the tra c and number
of users increases continuously.
This device has multiple applications, being ideal for
shared bandwidth workgroups with multiple high-speed
servers, providing speeds of up to 200 Mbps (100 Mbps
Full-Duplex mode).
Each port can provide to the workstation an uncongested
bandwidth for simultaneous server accesses.
The switch is a perfect choice for a 10 Mbps network
section which could be updated to Fast Ethernet in the
future, so Ethernet workgroups can connect to the switch
and change adapters or hubs anytime later without
changing the switch or recon guring the network.

LED indicators
LED indicators allow both monitoring and diagnosing
the status of the switch. The function of each indicator is
detailed below:
•
Power LED: this indicator lights solid blue when
the switch is turned on. If the LED does not light, it is
necessary to check the power connection.
•
Link/Active LED: this indicator lights solid blue when
the corresponding port is connected to a network. Blinks
blue when transmitting or receiving network data.
