In this screen you can set the time di erence of the place where you are with reference to the Greenwich
Meridian. The time information is part of the GPS signal, so you don't need to set it. To set the time zone,
scroll through the gures from -12 to +12 by pressing the selection (SEL) button repeatedly. For example,
central Europe is +1 (+2 in Summer Time).
Hold down the selection (SEL) button to con rm your choice and then hold it down again to exit this
setting and return to the System settings menu.
4.3.2.2 Setting the units of distance
In this screen you can set the system of units of distance. Choose from kilometres (km), miles (mile) and
nautical miles (nm). Keep pressing the selection (SEL) button until the cursor is next to the required unit.
