BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Remove all packing material.
• Check that the device is undamaged.
• Clean the measuring spoon 1.
USE
Switching on and off
• Press the button ON/OFF TARE 5. After a test of all display segments, 0.0 g will
appear. The device is ready to use.
• Press and hold the button ON/OFF TARE 5 to switch off the device.
• The device will switch off automatically 1 minute after the last button is pressed or
the last measurement.
Changing unit of measurement
• Press and hold the button Σ/UNIT 3 to switch between grams (g) and ounces (oz).
Weighing
1. Switch the device on using the button ON/OFF TARE 5.
2. Fill the measuring spoon 1 with the contents to be weighed.
3. Hold the device horizontal and steady in your hand by the handle 6, or place the
device on a flat surface. If necessary, hold the rear end of the handle 6 steady to
prevent the measuring spoon 1 from tipping over on the surface.
4. If necessary, press the button HOLD 4 to keep the measurement result displayed.
The display 2 will show HOLD.
5. Empty the measuring spoon 1.
6. Before a new measurement, press the button HOLD 4 again.
Weighing liquids
• The device can also be used for weighing liquids. The scale of the measuring spoon
1 displays quantities of 15 - 45 ml or 1-3 tablespoons (tbsp).
Adding weights
NOTE: it is not possible to change units of measurement while adding.
You can display multiple individual measurements (each up to max. 300 g) added
together.
1. Switch the device on using the button ON/OFF TARE 5, and make the first
measurement.
2. Press the button Σ/UNIT 3. The display 2 shows the measurement and Σ.
3. Empty the measuring spoon 1 and refill it. The display 2 will now show the total
weight of the two quantities.
Steps 2. and 3. can be repeated until a total weight of 3 kg is reached. If this total
weight is exceeded, the error message 0-Ld will be displayed.
