PERFORMING THE PRESSURE TEST
1. Preparation:
a. Close the high and low pressure valves (selector valves) (6/7) by turning them clockwise.
b. Close both coupling valves (12/13) by turning them counter-clockwise.
2. Connecting the hoses:
a. Connect the end of the blue hose with the low-pressure hose connection (10)
and the other end with the blue coupling (12).
b. Connect the end of the red hose with the high-pressure hose connection (11)
and the other end with the red coupling (13).
c. Connect the end of the yellow hose with the yellow charging hose connection (14), and the other
end to the service device.
3. Connecting the couplings:
a. Attach the blue coupling (12) to the low-pressure connection of the air conditioning system.
b. Attach the red coupling (13) to the high-pressure connection of the air conditioning system.
4. Perform a test:
a. Start the vehicle, bring to normal operating temperature and switch on the air conditioning system.
b. Open both coupling valves (12/13) by turning them clockwise.
c. Read the pressure from the pressure meters (4/5) and compare the values with those measured
values from the manufacturer.
5. After ending the tests:
a. Switch off the air conditioning system.
b. Close both coupling valves (12/13)
by turning these counter-clockwise.
c. Separate the couplings (12/13) from the air conditioning system,
for this purpose, pull the knurled ring on both couplings (12/13) upwards.
d. Connect the couplings (12/13) with the respective blind connection (8/9).

AVOIDING SERIOUS INJURIES
•
Do not use damaged equipment. In event of unusual noises, vibrations or if air / refrigerant escapes,
have the device checked and repaired before further use.
•
Before using each time, check the general state of the product and the air conditioning system.
Observe if there are any ruptured or broken components and look for other conditions that may
endanger the safe use.
STORAGE
Store clean and dry. Connect the respective blind connections (8/9) to the red coupling (13) and blue
coupling (12) in order to avoid contamination.
CLEANING
Clean the product at regular intervals using a moist cloth and mild cleaning agent.
EVACUATION / CHARGING
Procedures for evacuation and charging can be found in the operating instructions of the service device.
