CALIBRATION
Note: The W110 is factory calibrated to the loadbars/loadcell which it was
supplied with. In some instances, if another set of loadbars is to be used with
the indicator it is necessary to calibrate the system to ensure accuracy. Each
loadbar is calibrated independently and therefore must be removed from any
structure before calibration begins.
To recalibrate the W110, follow the steps below:
1.
Connect both load bars to the indicator and ensure that they have no weight
applied.
2.
Press the
loadbars, then press the down arrow
3.
Press
'bAr1' as loadbar 1 (left hand socket) is calibrated first.
4.
Press
'rdy?', with 'ZERO WEIGHT' flashing on the display. Ensure there is no
weight on the loadbar and press
5.
As the scale determines a zero weight the display will change to '- - - -'.
Once complete, the display will change to show the value of the test weight
to be used, and 'TEST WEIGHT' will flash on the screen. This value can be
adjusted by using the

Note: For best results it is recommended that a calibration weight of at least
10% of the capacity of the connected loadbar be used.

Once the test weight has been entered on the display press the

Load the calibration weight onto the loadbar and press

7.
Once complete, the display will change to show 'bAr2' as loadbar 2 (right
hand socket) is calibrated next.
8.
Repeat steps 4 to 6 for the second loadbar to complete calibration.
9.
Once completed, the scale will display 'done'. Press
normal operating mode.
