The distiller is supplied with the following items:

2 Installation
Description:
Benchtop water distiller for special usage in autoclaves.

Suitable location:
•
Place on a flat level and stable surface, suitable for the unit weight.
•
Do not cover the ventilation holes.
•
Place it near to power socket.
Connection to power supply:
•
Check that voltage on socked match the one indicated on the plate.
•
Do not manipulate the power cords with wet hands.
•
Power socked must be provided with protective ground terminal.

4 Operation
•
Unplug the header. Fig 4.1 and remove it. Fig 4.2
•
Fill the internal vessel, with water up to «FULL». Fig 4.3
•
Check that filter is properly fixed.
•
Fix the header. Fig 4.2 and plug the wire. Fig 4.1
•
The fan starts to run to cold the condenser.
Note: If the fan does NOT start, press «SPSP».
•
When reaching the boiling temperature, the distilled water starts to flow
through the faucet.
•
When the water is finished, the distiller stops automatically.
(It is suggested to unplug from the mains when the unit is not used)
•
Wait near 30 minutes to let the unit become cold, before removing the
header and clean the internal vessel and header bottom.
Tip: Distillation time can be shortten if hot water is used.
5 Cleaning
The water tap distillation left calcium residues on the vessel walls. This
residues affect the distillation rate and could let the unit out of order if they
are not regularly cleaned.
•
Use an anti- calcium, applied with a non-abrasive cloth to clean the inner
parts.
•
Clean each 2 - 3 distillations. Do not let accumulate the calcium residues
on the inner surfaces.
•
Deionized water can be used to avoid calcium residues.
•
Change the output filter every 3 moths. (Assuming a daily usage)
