19. Activate the compressor at nominal pressure.
Use the compressor at the pressure indicated on the specification sheet. If the compressor is used at
a pressure that is higher than nominal pressure, this shall result in abnormally quick operation of the
engine, which can damage the machine and burn the engine.
20. Never use a faulty compressor that does not work correctly.
If the compressor seems to be operating incorrectly, if it makes strange noises or seems faulty, stop
using it immediately and have the necessary repairs carried out by an authorised service centre.
21. Do not clean plastic parts using solvent.
Solvent such as spirit, thinner, benzene, carbon tetrachloride and alcohol may damage and crack the
plastic parts. Do not clean them using solvents. Clean plastic parts using a slightly damp and soapy
cloth, then dry them thoroughly.
22. Only use genuine replacement parts.
Using replacement parts that are not genuine may invalidate your guarantee and lead to incorrect oper-
ation and injury. Genuine replacement parts are available from your retailer.
23. Do not modify the compressor.
Do not modify the compressor. Always contact the authorised ALSAFIX After-Sales Service for all repair
work. Non-authorised modification will not only alter the performance of the compressor but may also
result in an accident or injury to employees who do not have the necessary knowledge or technical
expertise to carry out the repairs correctly.
24. Disconnect the switch when the compressor is not being used.
When the compressor is not in use, disconnect the switch, remove the power plug and open the release
tap to release the compressed air from the air chamber.
25. Never touch hot parts.
To prevent the risk of burning, never touch the piping, front end, cylinder, engine or inverter case (lower
cover).
26. Do not direct the air jet towards oneself.
This may cause injury. Do not direct the air jet towards other people or animals.
27. Empty the chamber.
Empty the chamber every day or after 4 hours of operation. Open the drainage fitting and incline the
compressor to empty the accumulated water.
28. Do not stop the compressor by disconnecting the plug.
Use the ON/OFF switch.
29. Only use genuine ALSAFIX compressor parts.
30. Replacement parts.
When carrying out maintenance work, only use genuine Alsafix parts. Repair may only be carried out
by authorised personnel.
31. Never use a transformer.
32. Never connect the compressor to an engine generator or a continuous power supply.
The compressor will malfunction or be damaged through burning.
