batteries at public collection points in your
district or sales outlets where batteries and
rechargeable batteries of this type are sold.
The codes below are printed
on batteries containing
harmful substances:
Pb = battery contains lead,
Cd = battery contains
cadmium, Hg = battery
contains mercury.
This unit contains a rechargeable bat-
tery that is built into the handle unit.
The rechargeable battery contains
Ni-MH
nickel metal hydride.
Before disposing of the unit, you must first
remove the rechargeable battery and dispose
of it separately. Ensure that the rechargeable
battery is fully discharged.
First, remove the brush head. Then loosen the
screw on the bottom of the handle unit.
Lever the bottom out of the handle unit using
a screwdriver. Turn the unit over and set the
vibrating axis on a hard surface.
Lever the two latches that are now visible
towards the centre of the housing and press
the housing downwards. You can now remove
the rechargeable batteries. Ensure that the
soldered cords are disconnected individu-
ally with pliers.
