5. Always start and stop polisher on or against the
surface of the car.
6. Place cord over shoulder and begin applying wax
and cleaner/glaze to the front half of the car, working
from front to back.
• Cover flat surfaces with broad, sweeping strokes
in a criss-cross pattern as shown. DO NOT press
down on the polisher. The machine's action, not
pressure, does the best job.
• Holding the polisher as you would a suitcase and
supporting it with your other hand, cover sides
with short, sweeping strokes.
7. Reapply wax and cleaner/glaze and repeat on the
other half of the car.
8. Finally, remove bonnet and apply wax and cleaner/
glaze by had to all hard-to-reach surfaces; under the
bumpers, around the door handles, etc.
9. Put the wool bonnet on the polisher. Buff the wax with
the polisher in the same order it was applied, using
long, sweeping strokes in a criss-cross pattern as
shown in step 6.

Maintenance
• Bonnets can be machine washed in cold water with a small amount of
detergent on a few minute cycle, then machine dried at medium heat.
However, hand washing and air-drying is recommended for longer bonnet
life.
• To prolong pad life and shape, always store polisher with pad face up.
• Remove bonnet from the pad when polisher is not in use so pad can dry out
and retain its original shape.
• Badly oxidized paint may require several applications. Do not use abrasive
compounds.
• The most common error is applying too much wax and cleaner/glaze. If
pad becomes saturated, POLISHING WILL BE MORE DIFFICULT AND TAKE
LONGER. It may also reduce pad life.
• If bonnet continually comes off pad, you may have used too much wax,
cleaner or glaze.
• If wax seems difficult to buff, you may have used too much wax.
• Use only mild soap and a damp sponge to clean polisher. Do not immerse
any part in liquid. If polisher needs repair, use only identical replacement
parts.
