Safety regulations for the owner / operator

The device must only be connected by a qualified electrician.

The device may only be opened when de-energized.
/
The device must only be operated on 230 V AC with protective earth.

The maximum voltages/currents specified in the technical data must not be exceeded.

Only rechargeable batteries of the specified type (6F22) may be used in the device. For
attachment, only the double-sided adhesive surface in the housing cover must be used. The
disposal of the batteries must be done according to the legal regulations.

Only the alarm contact switches available as accessories may be used.

Scope of delivery

The FLOW universal alarm system, KBN: FLOWAGU, is used to detect when there is a high water
level by means of an alarm contact switch which is available as an accessory, see page 14.
If the water level exceeds a certain level, the device will sound an audible alarm and switch off the
electrical device connected to the built-in electrical power outlet socket.
In order to provide security against unnoticed overflow, even in the event of a power failure, the
control unit has an emergency power device which can be retrofitted with a NiMH rechargeable
battery, 9-volt block (accessory KBN: Q567228V).
