Cutting contours and beard trimming
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
The cutting blade of the shaving head 1 is sharp. Handle it careful-
►
ly and never touch the cutting blade with your fingers.
NOTE
►
Only cut dry hair with the appliance.
►
Depending on the cutting angle, the cutting length can vary from the
setting on the comb attachment 0/q.
Make sure that the comb attachment 0/q sits firmly on the shav-
►
ing head 1 after adjustment.
♦
Set the cutting length to the desired hair length on the comb attachment
0/q. To do this, press the button on the back of the comb attachment
0/q and push the comb attachment 0/q upwards or downwards
(see fig. 3). You can read the cutting lengths via the markings on the
comb attachment 0/q (see fig. 4). Now trim your beard in stages.
NOTE
►
Press the upper side of the button, when you push the comb attachment
0/q upwards or downwards (see fig. 5). This makes it easier to
release the comb attachment 0/q from the catch and move it.
You can use the appliance without the comb attachment 0/q (i.e.
♦
with only the shaving head 1) to cut your hair very short or to cut your
beard and contours. In this way, you can cut the hair evenly down to
1–2 mm.
