Intended use
This product is designed exclusively for private use in small garden ponds. Direct solar radiation is required for the operation of the pump. Pond aeration can begin as soon as
the pump and solar module are connected with one another (provided sun radiation is provided). The aeration pump does not have an on/off switch. In order to interrupt the
aeration, the cable connection between the solar module and the pump must be disconnected.
Assembly and initial operation
1. Completely roll out the connection cable on the pump and the aeration hose.
2. Push the aeration hose onto the air output connection pieces of the pump.
3. Push the other end of the hose onto the connection piece on the rock bubbler.
4. Now place the pump at the edge of the pond at a position above the water level
Note: The pump sucks the air in from the underside. Please ensure that both slots on the underside are always kept clear and are not submerged in water.
5. Assemble the module holder (tubes, union nut and ground spike) and attach this to the rear side of the solar module 6. Now connect the plug for the pump with the
socket of the solar module and screw the cap tight. Caution! The plug is protected against polarity reversal, therefore do not apply force when plugging in.
7. Position the solar module in a sunny, shade-free place.
Care and Maintenance
Deposits of dust, dirt and foliage can collect on the solar module. These can be removed using a microfiber cloth and glass cleaner.
Protect the aeration pump against frost!
The aeration pump should be taken out of operation during the cold winter months and the entire system stored in a frost-free location.
