TO ADJUST DEPTH OF CUT
Adjust the depth of cut by rotating
the knob (A) Fig. 3. Find the desired
depth marking (on top of the
adjustment knob) and align it with the
pointer (B) Fig. 3.
Rotate the adjustment knob clock-
wise to increase the depth of cut, and
counter-clockwise to decrease the
depth of cut.
The depth of cut scale is marked for cuts ranging between 0" and 7/64"
deep. Rotate the adjustment knob past the 7/64" mark to obtain 1/8"
maximum depth of cut.
CHIP EXHAUST PORT
The plane is equipped with a chip exhaust port (A) Fig. 4, which can expel a
large volume of chips and saw dust.
Keep the chip exhaust port pointed away from yourself
and/or any bystanders.
ADJUSTING THE FENCE
DISCONNECT TOOL FROM POWER SOURCE.
The plane is equipped with an adjustable bevel fence (see the "ASSEMBLY"
Section). To adjust the fence:
1.
Loosen the knob (A) Fig. 5.
2.
Slide the fence to the desired position.
3.
Tighten the knob (A) Fig. 5.
The fence is also adjustable for a 0° to 45° bevel. To adjust bevel angle:
1.
Loosen the two wing nuts (B) Fig. 5.
2.
Tilt the fence to the desired angle.
3.
Tighten the two wing nuts (B) Fig. 5.
