6. Putting into operation

Charging the Brill power pack
A12(e)

For technical reasons, the
Brill power pack A12(e) is not
charged. Prior to first start-up
you have to charge Brill power
pack A12(e). Only use the Brill
charger LG12 Art. 61619.
Plug the Brill charger LG12 into
the wall outlet and the plug-in
connector (fig. B Pos. 4) into the
charging port (fig. A Pos. 1) on
the Brill Power pack A12(e).
The charging sequence is start-
ed. Make sure that the mains
voltage is correct.
Charging time: ca. 24 hours for
first charge, then 12 to 24 hrs
depending on the discharge
condition.
The Brill Power Pack 12V will
reach full power after several
(abt. 5) charge / discharge oper-
ations only.
The Brill Power Pack A12(e)
A
is only to be charged with
the with Brill charger LG12 Art.
61619 since optimum technical
adaptation is ensured between
power pack and charger.
The use of any other chargers
could lead to personal injury.
The use of chargers from other
suppliers makes void all liability

claims and warranty cover from
the manufacturer.
Charge the power pack
A
prior to first start-up for
a full 24 hours please.
During charging, the
A
mains plug and the power
pack will slightly warm up.
Only use the charger in
A
dry rooms and never in
direct sunlight.
Make sure that no easily
A
inflammable substances
are located next to the
appliance during charging.
Disposal of Brill power pack

Please refer to Waste disposal /
Recycling.
Start-up of the Brill power pack
A12(e)
Pull the plug-in connector (fig. B
Pos. 4) out of the charging port
(fig. A Pos. 1) on the Brill Power
pack A12(e). Plug the Brill
Power pack A12(e) in the sup-
port provided for this purpose
until you feel the Brill Power
pack A12(e) click into place.
