1.
Loop a bed strap around one of the bed legs or
castors at the foot of the bed.

Thread the buckle through the loop in the strap
and pull tight, figure 1.

Repeat steps 1 & 2 for the second strap on the
opposite bed leg/castor.

Place the Bed Ladder on the bed in the required
position for the user, handles facing upwards.
The bed ladder can be positioned centrally on a
single bed, or offset to one side on a double bed.
The top handle should be within easy reach of the
user when lying down in the bed.
5.
Use the bedding clips at the top of the ladder to
secure it to the bed linen, figure 2.
If the bed linen is thin material, it may be necessary to
fold twice for the bedding clips to grip securely.
6.
Fasten the bed straps to the ladder using the
buckle clips, ensuring the straps are not twisted.
7.
Pull the straps tight adjusting the length as
required. Tuck any excess strap under the
mattress, figure 3.
8.
The ladder is now fully fitted and is ready for
use, figure 4.

To use the bed ladder, the user should grasp the first
handle and then reach for successive handles to pull
themselves from a lying to an upright position:
