Setup and installation
There are two options for setting up QLOCKTWO in a room:
freestanding
wall-mounted
Freestanding setup
Remove protective fi lm
Remove the protective fi lm from the front of the cover. Slowly pull off the protective fi lm starting at a corner.
Do not bend the front cover. Then, as illustrated, slide the two acrylic glass supports onto the outer edges of
QLOCKTWO.
WARNING! Removing the protective fi lm only applies to the acrylic glass models.
Power supply from a socket
For freestanding setup the power is supplied via a power socket. For this purpose, plug the mini-USB plug
of the long USB cable provided or the optional coloured textile cable into the QLOCKTWO mini-USB port. See
fi g. 3. Connect the other end of the cable with the USB plug and plug it into mains socket. You might need an
adapter to fi t your country's type of sockets (see scope of delivery/labelling on the packaging).

Finding the right position
To determine the position of QLOCKTWO on the wall please use the enclosed template as a positioning aid.
Mark the position of the drill holes through the respective holes in the wall bracket. Make sure there are no
pipes or other supply lines near the marked drill holes.
WARNING! Selecting the right wall plug is vital in order to securely mount to the wall. The type of
wall plug required depends on the construction of the wall. Make sure the load-bearing capacity of the
intended wall and wall plugs is suffi cient for the 6 kg weight of QLOCKTWO CLASSIC.
Power supply via a direct power outlet from the wall
Only trained electricians should connect the mains adapter to the power outlet in the wall and fi t the junction
box. Isolate the power supply prior to installation. Connect the short USB cable to the USB plug and connect
it to the mains adapter. Plug the slim, angled mini-USB plug into the mini-USB port, see fi g. 1 and 4.
J
WARNING! Please insert the mini-USB plug into the
mini-USB port carefully, otherwise the USB plug or port may
be damaged.
If you encounter resistance while mounting the QLOCKTWO
G
into the wall mount (eg due unfavorable positioned cables),
F
you should not force the clock in the correct position, other-
E
wise the USB plug or USB port may be damaged.
