Dry vacuuming (Fig. 1):
m WARNING! Pull out the mains plug before car-
rying out any adjustments, maintenance or repair
work.
• Ensure that the dust bag (25) is installed.
• Fill the water tank (11) up to the line
• Affix the hose connection cover (13) to the water
tank (11).
• Loosen the quick coupling (8) on both sides of the
device and remove the machine head.
• Install the HEPA filter (21).
• Re-attach the machine head to the water tank (11).
• Fit the vacuum hose (2) to the machine head.
• Select the required brush or nozzle.
Wet vacuuming (Fig. 1):
• Remove the dust bag (24).
• Fasten the cover (13) for the hose connection on
the machine head.
• Install the vacuum hose (2) with the floor nozzle
(12) on the water tank (11.
• Loosen the quick coupling (8) on both sides of the
device and remove the machine head.
• Install the foam filter (20).
• Re-attach the machine head to the water tank (11).
Automatic mode:
• Plug your electrical tool's cable into the socket
(Fig. 1 / Pos. 7).
• Connect the vacuum hose (Fig. 1 / Pos. 2) to the
dust vacuuming connection on your electrical tool.
Ensure that the device connections are air tight.
• Tip the on/off switch (Fig. 1 / Pos. 15) into the ═
position.
• The wet and dry vacuum cleaner switches on as
soon as the electrical tool is switched on. When
you switch your electrical tool off, the wet and dry
vacuum cleaner switches off with the preset delay
Tapping function:
If the vacuuming power reduces during dry vacuum-
ing, press the tapping function button (Fig. 1 / Pos. 18)
a few times to clean the HEPA filter.
8. Maintenance
m WARNING! Prior to any adjustment, maintenance
or service work disconnect the mains power plug!
General maintenance measures
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the mo-
tor housing free of dirt and dust as far as possible.
Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or blow it down
with compressed air at low pressure.

We recommend that you clean the equipment imme-
diately after you use it.
Clean the equipment regularly with a damp cloth and
some soft soap. Do not use cleaning agents or sol-
vents; these may be aggressive to the plastic parts in
the equipment. Ensure that no water can get into the
interior of the equipment.
Brush inspection
• In case of excessive sparking, have the carbon
brushes checked only by a qualified electrician.
Important. The carbon brushes should not be
replaced by anyone but a qualified electrician.
Service information
Please note that the following parts of this product
are subject to normal or natural wear and that the fol-
lowing parts are therefore also required for use as
consumables.
Wear parts*: Foam filter; HEPA filter; Dust bag

9. Storage
Store the device and its accessories in a dark, dry
and frost-proof place that is inaccessible to children.
The optimum storage temperature is between 5 and
30˚C.
Store the electrical tool in its original packaging.
Cover the electrical tool in order to protect it from dust
and moisture.
Store the accessories on the device as shown in
Fig. 11.
Store the operating manual with the electrical tool.
10. Electrical connection
The electrical motor installed is connected and
ready for operation. The connection complies
with the applicable VDE and DIN provisions.
The customer's mains connection as well as
the extension cable used must also comply with
these regulations.
Important information
In the event of an overloading the motor will switch
itself off. After a cool-down period (time varies) the
motor can be switched back on again.
Damaged electrical connection cable
The insulation on electrical connection cables is of-
ten damaged.
