OPERATION
• Stable mixed water temperatures.
• Hot Water failsafe: Hot Water supply shuts off if
the Cold Water supply fails.
• It is possible to undertake thermal and chemical
shocks: see Maintenance Guide (available on
request).
TECHNICAL FEATURES
• 733015 - 733016 : 19 lpm at 1 bar, for 2 - 7
valves depending on the flow rate of the valve
(NB : TEMPOMATIC, TEMPOSTOP... at 3 lpm).
• 733020 - 733021 : 23 lpm at 1 bar, for 2 - 10
valves depending on the flow rate of the valve
(NB: TEMPOMATIC, TEMPOSTOP... at 3 lpm).
• Integrated non-return valves.
• Stable temperature: ± 1.5°C between 34 and 40°C.
• Pre-set at 38°C (HW and CW pressure 3 bar).
• Temperature adjustment from 34 to 40°C.
• Hot water fail safe is active if:
- the mixed water temperature is lower than
42°C.
- the temperature differential between the CW
and MW is greater than 15°C.
- Response time ~5 sec.
INSTALLATION
• Recommended pressure: 1 - 5 bar.
• Hot Water supply temperature: 55 - 85°C.
• Cold Water supply temperature: 5 - 20°C.
• Balance the pressure between HW / CW ( P<1 bar)
• It is essential to install the filters
supplied(fig. E)
, to protect the non-return
valves
in the mixer. Do not install any
additional washers.
• Connect the water supply using either nuts
with a compacted flange or a flat faced tap
connector.
(Connect Hot Water to the red ring
Water to the blue ring
• PREMIX Compact can be installed in any
position (fig. B and C).
COMMISSIONING & LOCKING THE
TEMPERATURE
• To set the temperature (fig. D) :
- Remove the covering cap
- Loosen the locking screw
head screw driver.
- Remove the control knob
and Cold
).
.
using a 12mm flat
by hand.
- Slowly turn the notched spindle
the desired temperature is achieved at
the point-of-use. Avoid any disruption to the
system during commissioning.
• Replace the control knob:
- either in the open position (fig. F).
- or the locked position (fig. G): replace with the
control knob
upside down.
It is possible to adjust the temperature from 30 -
60 (deg) C by removing the control knob and
turning the notched spindle clockwise to increase
the temperature and anti-clockwise to decrease
the temperature.
REMEMBER
• Our water controls must be installed by a
qualified professional in accordance with
current regulations and recommendations in
your country, and the specifications of the fluid
engineer.
• Sizing the pipes correctly will avoid problems
of water hammer and loss of pressure/flow rate.
See the calculation table in the brochure and
online at www.delabie.com.
• Protect the installation with filters, water-hammer
absorbers and pressure reducers to reduce the
frequency of maintenance. (Recommended
pressure: 1 - 5 bar).
• Install stopcocks close to the mixer to facilitate
maintenance.
• The pipework, stopcocks, draw-off and all sanitary
fittings must be checked regularly, at least once a
year.
MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
• Cleaning chrome:
Do not use abrasive, chlorine or any other acid-
based cleaning products. Clean with hot soapy
water and cloth or sponge and dry using a
clean, dry cloth.
• Frost protection:
Drain the pipes and operate the mixer several
times to drain any remaining water.
SERVICING
Check the temperature setting and the hot
water fail safe at least twice a year (depending
on the water quality).
