USE
Take a matching pressure disk. It has to fit with its drive piston
into the intended channel of the brake piston.
The pressure disks 8, 9 and 0 have a tractor margin which has
to fit over the piston, also.
Push the knob of the sliding
T-bar fully aside and the
catch plate over the spindle
until it reaches the bottom
end of the spindle nut.
Turn the spindle counter clockwise (or the spindle nut
clockwise) until the wind-back tool fits in between the brake
piston and the caliper's framing.
When applying the tool, check that the drive piston fits into the
brake piston or respectively, that the tractor margin fits onto the
brake piston exactly. If this is the case, you may start turning the
spindle nut counter clockwise, tempering the spindle a little. This
way you avoid an unintended disengaging when winding back
the brake piston.
Wind back the brake piston by turning the spindle clockwise.
Caution: If winding back demands a very high effort, check
whether the wind-back tool is applied properly or whether you
might need a right-threaded wind-back set.
Turning the spindle nut clockwise releases the tempered wind-
back tool. You can take it out of the brake caliper now.
Note: You might want to use a spanner to loosen the spindle
nut and release the wind-back tool conveniently.
