• The crossed out "WHEELIE BIN" symbol
with
d'Equipement Electrique et Electronique"
or WEEE "Waste of Electric and Electronic
Equipment") indicates that at the end
of its life, it must not be disposed of with
household waste, but instead dropped off at
a local recycling centre. Waste reclamation
allows us to preserve our environment.
• The "CE branding" symbol guarantees
compliance

• The ROHS symbol (Restriction of use of
certain Hazardous Substances) relating
to environmental protection certifies that
the maximum concentration of each of the
5 dangerous substances (mercury • lead
• hexavalent chromium • PBB and PBDE
flame retardants) is equal to or less than
0.1% of the weight of the homogeneous
material, and 0.01% for the sixth (cadmium).

ELECTRICAL SAFETY AND
CORD HANDLING
• Make sure your outlet voltage and circuit frequency
correspond to the voltage stated on the appliance
rating label and your outlet socket is properly earthed.
If this is not the case, contact the after-sales support
line and do not use the kettle.
• Do not use any other appliance at the same time
on the same electrical circuit as it may overload the
circuit and the fuse or circuit breaker.
• To protect it against fire and electric shock, do not
immerse the cord, plug, power base or the kettle itself
in water or other liquid. Do not expose the electrical
("Déchet
connections to water.
• The cord should be run in such a way that there will
be no risk of anyone pulling it inadvertently.
• Do not kink, bend, flatten, strain, or damage the
power cord and protect it from sharp edges and heat.
Do not let the cord hand over the edge of a table or
benchtop. Do not let it touch hot surfaces.
• A damaged cord or plug must be replaced by the
manufacturer or a qualified person in order to avoid
a hazard.
• n case of damage, contact the after-sales support at
www.twinzee.fr for advice.
• Make sure all electrical connections are clean and dry
These
before turning on.
• NOTE: Unless your home is already fitted with
a residual current device (safety switch), we
recommend using this kettle with a residual current
device to lessen the risk of scalding or other injury
from hot water, which may be ejected if the heating
element ruptures. Contact a qualified electrician for
advice.
• To avoid spouting of boiling water, do not overfill
the kettle. Make sure the water level is above the
minimum and below the maximum level.
• Make sure the kettle's lid is securely closed before
turning on the power.
• Never leave the filter loose in the kettle, it must sit
securely in place in front of the spout.
• Do not leave the kettle unattended when the power
is turned on.
• Ensure that the kettle is switched off before removing
it from its stand.
• Unplug the kettle from the outlet when it is not in use.
• Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool before putting
on or taking off parts and before cleaning it.
• To disconnect the appliance, turn off the power at the
outlet, then remove the plug from the wall.
• Grip the plug when disconnecting, do not pull the
cord.
• NOTE: IIf you accidentally allow the kettle to
operate without water, the boil-dry protection will
automatically turn it off. If this occurs, let the kettle
cool before filling it with cold water.
