3. Attach smaller ring
Place the leg frame upside down on the cardboard. Insert the
smaller ring into the center of the leg frame and push down
until the smaller ring holes align with the holes inside the
legs. Insert the four M6 - 1.00 x 14 Pan-head Allen screws
through the smaller ring and into the legs. Insert four M6 - 1.00
Sleeved Allen nuts and finger tighten.
5. Tighten the screws
Tighten all the screws, starting with the small ring and then the
large ring.
7. Attach seat
Place the seat (upholstered side down) on the cardboard to
avoid damaging the seat. Turn the leg frame assembly with
swivel plate facing down toward the seat and align the swivel
plate holes with the seat holes. Fasten the leg frame and
swivel plate assembly to the seat using four M6 - 1.00 x 28
Pan-head Allen screws. Tighten securely.
4. Attach swivel plate
Turn the leg frame assembly upright and place the swivel plate
across the bars on top of the leg frame assembly. Align the
swivel plate holes of the plate closest to the frame with the
frame holes. Insert four M6 - 1.00 x 28 Pan-head Allen screws
through swivel plate and leg. Secure swivel plate using four
M6 - 1.00 Flanged Nuts and tighten securely.
6. Level the assembly
Small ring
Large ring
Check the leg frame assembly to be sure it is level. If the
assembly rocks back and forth or seems unsteady, insert a
shim (supplied) between the foot pad and the stool leg to level
the stool.
NOTE: When testing the balance of the leg frame assembly,
use a level floor surface. If the leg frame assembly remains
unbalanced, repeat Step 6.
