Fasten the side handle for right-hand operation on the left-hand side of the machine.
•
Fasten the side handle for upright working at the top of the machine.
Make sure that the side handle is fastened properly and cannot loosen unexpectedly.
Mounting grinding discs and roughing discs
Fig. 3 and 4 show how to mount the flange (10) when using thick (4 – 8 mm) and thin (2,5 – 4 mm)
discs.
4. USE
Special attention when starting the machine
•
Clamp the workpiece and make sure that the workpiece cannot slide from under the
machine during the cutting activities.
•
When working with the machine, always hold it firmly with both hands and provide for a
secure stance.
•
Always direct the cable to the rear away from the machine.
•
Insert the mains plug only when the machine is switched off.
•
Apply the machine to the workpiece only when switched on
Never use the machine for grinding magnesium workpieces.

Use one finger to push the lock button forward and then press the switch.
Switch OFF
Release the switch.
The grinder will continue to run after it is turned off.
Only lay the machine down once the motor has completely stopped turning. Do not put the
machine on a dusty surface. Dust particles can penetrate the machine.
Before start working, the machine must be run according to the max. speed.

The handle can be rotated in 90° steps to the machine housing. This allows you to place the

La empuñadura se puede girar en secciones de 90° en dirección hacia la carcasa de la
herramienta. Lo anterior permite situar el interruptor de Encendido/Apagado en una posición
de trabajo más confortable para ciertas labores específicas, por ejemplo, para labores de
corte o para usuarios zurdos.
•
Tire la palanca (8) hacia atrás usando el pulgar y el dedo índice.
•
Gire la empuñadura a la nueva posición (hasta que atranque).
Manejo
•
Sujete bien el aparato y apriételo contra la pieza. Mueva el disco uniformemente sobre la
pieza.
•
Durante el desbaste, mueva el aparato con un ángulo de 30º - 40º sobre la pieza (fig. 5).
Nunca utilice discos de amolado para tareas de desbaste
•
El aparato debe moverse siempre en dirección opuesta a la rotación del disco. Por lo
tanto, nunca debe moverse el aparato en otra dirección. Al no respetarse esta
instrucción, existe el peligro de que el aparato salga del corte de forma descontrolada (fig.
6).
•
Revise el disco periódicamente. Un disco desgastado puede tener efectos negativos
sobre la eficacia del aparato. Sustituya el disco a tiempo.
•
No deposite el aparato mientras que el motor siga funcionando. No coloque el aparato
sobre una superficie con polvo. Las partículas de polvo podrían entrar en el mecanismo.
•
Desconecte siempre primero el aparato, antes de desenchufar la clavija de la toma de
corriente.
Nunca utilice el cierre del husillo para parar el motor.
