READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS
CAREFULLY before using the
appliance for the first time
Advice to be followed before every use
■ Maximum load: 65 kg
■ Check that all the parts are correctly assembled
■ Check the condition of the cable. Replace it if there is the
slightest visual defect (crushing, pinching, etc.) or if a strand
is broken.
■ Check the tightness of nuts and bolts regularly.
■ Check the condition of the return springs and the cable:
replace if worn.
■ Check the operation of the winch (the load should remain in
position if the brake is released).
■ Check operation before use.
General precautions for use
■ When the plasterboard reaches the right height, stop pressing
the winch handle to avoid premature wear of the winch or the
cable.
■ Do not release the brake when the cable is slack.
■ Release the two brakes successively to enable the appliance
to descend.
■ Never use the tool holder trays as a ladder or working plat-
form. If necessary use an individual work platform for
overhead working complying with the regulations.
■ Keep the work area clear to facilitate movement of the board
lift.
■ Use the board lift on a stable base that can support the weight
of the appliance when loaded.
■ Avoid moving with the board lift when loaded and in the raised
position
■ Never allow children to handle the board lift
■ The user is responsible for his own safety and that of persons
in the vicinity.
■ Never remove safety elements
■ No modification may be made without the manufacturer's
approval.
■ Helmet wearing: respect the legislation in force
■ Have the appliance checked regularly by an inspection orga-
nisation (order of 1 March 2004)
