vertical position of the child seat; when the height is right; tighten
the screws firmly in place.

Take the seat and insert the two ends of the support arm (5) into the
fastening block holes. Place the backrest upright using the knob (16)
(see ill. 2) rotating it in an anti-clockwise direction. Now check that:
- the barycentre reference point (19) on the seat is not over 10cm
from the centre of the wheel.
- the child seat is at least 6-7 cm from the mudguard, from the
wheel or from any luggage racks.
- If the child seat barycentre reference is not between the set
parameters, adjust the horizontal position as follows:

When the backrest is in an upright position, loosen the screws (20)
using the supplied wrench.
WARNING! Do not unscrew the screw (20) completely, just loosen
it enough to slide the seat on the plate. Slide the seat forwards or
backwards until you reach the recommended barycentre position.
Tighten the screws (20). Your child seat is now correctly fitted onto
your bicycle. Adjust the vertical position following the instructions in
the diagram; when the seat is correctly in place, tighten the screws
(9) slowly and evenly until the fastening block stops rotating around
the frame. Slide the cover (18) over the front part of the fastening
block (8). Cover the counter-block (7) with the protection cover (11).

Fastening the footrest. To fasten the footrest insert it in the high-
est position on the shaped adjuster slot, while keeping the fix-
ing bridges of the safety belt on the outside of the seat. Insert the
regulating pin (21) from the outside of the seat towards the inside
as illustrated, making sure that the right pin meets the right side
and vice versa. Both the pins and sides of the seat are marked with
DX=right and SX=left. Slide the footrest (4) down.

Extracting the footrest. To extract the footrest, turn the adjuster
lever (21) upwards, move the footrest (4) upwards as far as possible,
remove the adjuster lever outwards to free the support.

Setting the inclination of the child seat. Press and turn the inclina-
tion knob (16) until the backrest is in the desired position.
WARNING! When adjusting the inclination of the backrest, the child
seat moves forward and the footrests may catch when pedalling.

Adjusting the footrest: To adjust the height of the footrest (4), turn
the adjuster lever (21) upwards, once you have found the right posi-
tion, turn the adjuster lever downwards to fix the footrest in place

Fastening and unfastening the child's feet. Make sure your child's
feet are well fastened to the footrests. The safety belt is long for
easy adjustment. To release the belt 22, lift it out to free it from the
bridge trapping it.

Fasten the child's safety belt: Adjust the height and length of the
belts according to the size of the child. Setting belt height: the belt
can be extracted to adjust its height by inserting the buckle behind
the backrest through the opening each time (fig.14). Choose the up-
per or lower openings to fix the belts based on the child's height. Set
belt length: modify belt length by sliding the buckles. The belts must
be fastened firmly without them being too tight for the child. Fasten
the belts: fasten the belt clasp. Check that the belt clasp clicks shut
properly, and then pull the belt.

tral press-buttons on the clasp. The clasp will open.

Removing the child seat: Press the release button (1) on the fasten-
ing block (8) and remove the child seat. To hook the seat on again,
insert the support arm (5) in the two fixing block holes (8) until the
lever clicks.
Maintenance
1)
Clean the seat, the padding and the belts with warm water and a
mild detergent. Do not use solvents or abrasive or corrosive de-
tergents. Leave the padding to dry in the open air. Do not iron.
2)
Seat repairs and replacement of damaged components must only
be carried out by authorized personnel.
