6.1
BEFORE INSTALLING THE TRAILING
SEAT ONTO THE MACHINE
•
Stop the engine, apply the hand brake,
and make sure all moving parts are
stationary.
6.2
INSTALLATION OF THE TRAILING SEAT
Step One – Bolt the clevis (A) into the hole at the
top of the caster wheel on the bag tray, as
shown in FIG 1.
Step Two – Position the rod end into the clevis,
then slip the pin (B) into through the clevis
and the rod end, as shown in FIG 2.
Next, position the retaining clip (C) over
the pin, as shown in FIG 3.
Step Three – Route the wiring harness around the
'damper' and connect the connectors (D)
on the left-hand side of the machine as
shown in FIG 4. Finally, some draw –
down ties will be required to tie down the
wiring harness to the bag tray.
6.3
BEFORE REMOVING THE TRAILING
SEAT FROM THE MACHINE
•
Stop the engine, apply the hand brake,
and make sure all moving parts are
stationary.
6.4
REMOVAL OF THE TRAILING SEAT
To remove the seat from the machine, simply
follow the installation instructions in the reverse
order.
6.5
STORAGE OF THE TRAILING SEAT 'OFF'
THE MACHINE
•
When storing the seat ensure that it is
stored where it can not fall on someone
or trip someone up. It may need a block
under the wheels to keep it from rolling.
