PC-S: Skylight Photosensor Mounting
Locate the sensor indoors as near to the center of the
skylight well as possible or at least 12 inches from the side.
The sensor should be exposed to full daylight and not be
put in a location that may be shadowed. The sensor must
be mounted vertically, with the dome pointing upwards.
Mount the sensor in a standard threaded ½" conduit or ½"
knockout.
Locate the sensor within 500 feet of the control panel.

Wiring the Photosensor to the Controller
The analog sensor wiring should not be routed near power
wiring. It must be brought into the low voltage section
of the lighting controller. Total wire run length should not
exceed 500 feet.
Wire the analog photosensor to the analog input channels
provided on the board. Refer to the wiring diagrams below
or installation instructions for your panel type for location
of these input channels. Wire should be 18 AWG stranded,
3-conductor, twisted, Class II wiring.
1.
Connect the RED wire to the +24 VDC terminal of
any switch channel or to the +24 VDC terminal of the
peripheral power connector.
2.
Connect the YELLOW wire to one of the ANALOG IN
terminals (labeled AN1, AN2, AN3, AN4).
3.
Connect the BLACK wire to the ANALOG COM
terminal that corresponds to the ANALOG IN terminal
being used.

Photosensor Programming Ranges
After the photosensor has been successfully installed,
the next step is to set up the programming in the lighting
controller. It will be necessary to enter an upper and lower
endpoint as well as an upper and lower voltage.
Unless an extended range photosensor has been provided,
the endpoints and voltages have been previously calibrated
from the manufacturer for the following settings:
