power supply, and connect the black input clip to the negative terminal of this storage battery. The
green LED 2 of the car data saver lights up, and green LED 1 keeps illuminating.
3. Disconnect the car's storage battery which you want to replace from the car while remaining the
connections between the car data saver and this car.
4. Connect a new storage battery of the same ratings to the car, make sure that the polarity connec-
tions are correct.
5. Disconnect the car data saver from the car and then from the storage battery used a temporary
power supply.
Note:
In the steps 2, 3 and 4, the green LED 1 and LED 2 should illuminate, but the red LED 3, which is
a shortcircuit alarm indicator, should not illuminate. If one of the three LEDs of the car data saver
behaves abnormally, stop using the car data saver immediately and disconnect all its connections,
and then check whether it is damaged and whether you made connections wrong
NOTE
1. The car data saver can only be used on 12V car system or 24V car system.
2. The max. allowable current of this car data saver is 2.5A.
3. Before use, turn off the electric appliances of the car to save the power of storage battery.
4. Before use, make sure whether the car storage battery you want to replace is a 12V storage bat-
tery or a 24V storage battery. The storage battery which you use as a temporary power supply must
have the same rated voltage as that of the car's original storage battery.
5. Avoid shorting any two clips of the car data saver.
6. Avoid shorting the positive terminal and the negative terminal of storage battery.
7. Whenever you connect the clips of the car data saver, connect them correctly; otherwise the car
or the car data saver may be damaged.
8. Always follow the relevant requirements in the users manual and service manual of the car.
9. Do not use the car data saver where explosive or flammable gas, vapor, or dust is present.
10. Make sure the storage battery you are using is in a well ventilated environment.
11. Do not use the car data saver if it is damaged or if it operates abnormally.
12. The car data saver's working environment is: 0°C ~ 50°C, with relative humidity < 75%.
The required storage environment is: -10°C ~ 50°C, with relative humidity < 85%.
