Extension cables to the mains must at least be protected from
water spray and contain an earth lead.
Only plug-in when machine is switched off.
If the supply cord of this appliance is damaged, it must only be
replaced by a repair shop appointed by the manufacturer, to avoid
hazardous situations.
WORKING INSTRUCTIONS
Do not direct the air into rooms in an uncontrolled manner.
Before liquids are picked up, always remove the filter bag. Ensure
Filter remains fitted for wet operating. Check that the float works
and level indicator hose properly. If foam develops or liquid
emerges, stop work immediately and empty the dirt tank.
Not suitable for sweeping up liquids which form a large foam.
When using the blower function, always use a clean hose.
Stirred-up dust can be hazardous to health. Do not use the blower
function in closed rooms.
Only use the appliance if it is in perfect condition. Never use the
dust extractor without a filter, or if the filter is damaged.
Discard filter elements, filter bags and disposal bags in accordance

with the national regulations.
CONNECTING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The plug socket on the appliance may be used only for the purposes
defined in the usage instructions.
Before plugging an appliance into the appliance socket:
Switch off the vacuum cleaner. Switch off the appliance to be
connected.
CAUTION!Follow the operating instructions that are supplied with
appliances that are connected to the auxility outlet. Do not exceed
the rated output of the auxiliary outlet.
MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND REPAIR
Always pull out the mains plug before cleaning and maintenance of
the vacuum cleaner.
Only carry out maintenance work described in the operating
instructions.
If suction performance drops: Switching on the vacuum cleaner.
Close the nozzles or suction hose opening with the palm of your
hand. Press the button to start filter cleaning three times. The
resulting stream of air removes attached dust from the slats of the
filter elements.
The ventilation slots of the machine must be kept clear at all times.
Clean dust and debris from tool. Keep tool handles clean, dry and
free of oil or grease. Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean
the tool since certain cleaning agents and solvents are harmful
to plastics and other insulated parts. Never use flammable or
combustible solvents around tools.
Never spray water on to the upper section of the vacuum cleaner.
Danger for persons, risk or short-circuiting.
Before use check machine, cable, and plug for any damages or
material fatigue. Repairs should only be carried out by authorised
Service Agents.
Use only AEG accessories and spare parts. Should components
need to be replaced which have not been described, please contact
one of our AEG service agents (see our list of guarantee/service
addresses).

Storage: The appliance must be stored in a dry place and protected
from frost.
• For user servicing, the machine must be dismantled, cleaned and
serviced, as far as is reasonably practicable, without causing risk
to the maintenance staff and others. Suitable precautions include
decontamination before dismantling, provision for local filtered
exhaust ventilation where the machine is dismantled, cleaning of
the maintenance area and suitable personal protection.
• The manufacturer, or an instructed person, shall perform a
technical inspection at least annually, consisting of, for example,
inspection of filters for damage, air tightness of the machine and
proper function of the control mechanism.
