8. To prevent all risks of burns, wait for at least 2
minutes at the end of each sterilising cycle, before
removing the steriliser from the microwave. It is
recommended to use oven gloves to handle the
steriliser when hot; allow it cool for a few more
minutes before removing the lid (diag.G).
9. Lift the lid up carefully allowing the residual steam
to flow out slowly (be very careful as the steam is hot
and can scald the skin!).
10. Warning! All the components are very hot after
the sterilising cycle; handle with care to prevent burns
and allow the elements to cool down before touching
them, using the tongs were necessary ( diag.H).
11. It is highly recommended to wash/disinfect your
hands before touching sterilised products.
iMpoRTANT NoTE:
The appliance will keep bottles and accessories
sterilised for about 24 hours if you leave them in
the steriliser with the lid closed.
WARNiNG
The following conditions could cause certain parts of
the steriliser to melt and damage its own elements
and those of the microwave:
1. Sterilising cycle times longer than those indicated
(see the recommended sterilising times and wattage).
2. Repeated sterilising cycles without topping up the
water level (200 ml).
3. Use of less water than the recommended amount.
4. The wattage of the microwave is higher than the
maximum indicated for the steriliser (1200 W).
5. Placing components which are not microwave-
proof in the steriliser.
6. Using the steriliser grill mode function.
CLEANiNG ANd MAiNTENANCE
Always clean and dry the steriliser thoroughly after
use.
The steriliser elements can also be placed in the dish-
washer, selecting a gentle wash cycle.
Do not use abrasive sponges or detergents to clean
the steriliser.
When using the steriliser, it is perfectly normal

for some limescale to form inside according to the
hardness of the water. To remove limescale, simply
pour 200 ml mixture of equal parts of water and
vinegar and leave to sit overnight, at least; then
rinse thoroughly. Warning! Never place the steriliser
in the microwave when removing the limescale as
explained above.
Do not use limescale remover solutions or liquids
other than the natural mixture recommended above.
When not in use, dry all the steriliser components
thoroughly and store them in a dry and clean place
away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
