a. Fitting a sanding belt (fig. B)
• Pull out the clamping lever (6) as far as possible.
• Take a sanding belt of the require grain size and place it on the rollers (7).
• Make sure the arrow on the inside of the sanding belt corresponds to the arrow on the machine.
• Push the clamping lever back.
b. Dust extraction (fig. C)
Use the dust exhaust (3) together with the dust bag (9) to work dust-free.
• Insert the dust bag holder (8) into the dust exhaust (3).
• Slide the dust bag (9) over the dust bag holder.
• Regularly empty the dust bag.
c. Switching ON/OFF
• Press the ON/OFF switch (1) while pressing the unlock button (2) to switch the machine on.
• Release the ON/OFF switch to switch it off.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
1. All screws or parts of the device have to be tightly connected and must not be corroded.
2. There must not be any deformations on the housing and its accessories.
3. Moving mechanic parts must not show any traces of wear and tear and must be able to rotate unimpeded.
4. The electric power supply cables must be free of damage. Have a qualified technician service the device.
5. Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
6. After operation, clean out the ventilation slots with compressed air (3 bar max.) to prevent the build-up of dust.
7. Check the carbon brushes regularly. Dirty or worn carbon brushes result in excessive sparking and speed
variations. Remove the carbon brush holders (4) and clean the brushes. Replace the brushes when worn.
8. Let the machine turn idle for 15 minutes after mounting the new brushes.
