PROGRAMMING CARDS IN "EASY" MODE
PROCEDURES
6.1
Easy
Program a card that is valid for command no. 1 only,
or valid for command no. 2 only, or valid for both
commands (no. 1 and no. 2)
PLEASE NOTE – Programming cannot be repeated once finished. To program more
cards, use the procedure in paragraph 8.1.
01. Press the "T" key (fig. 7): the reader emits acoustic tones every 30 seconds...
02. ...choose the command from the options provided and run the action indicated:
• to program command no. 1 = pass the new card once in front of the reader.
• to program command no. 2 = pass the new card twice in front of the reader.
• to program both command no. 1 and no. 2 = pass the new card 3 times in
front of the reader.
03. After the first card, other cards can be programmed by repeating point 02 for
each one within 10 seconds of passing the last card. Note – Any of the three op-
tions can be chosen for each new card.
04. To terminate the procedure, wait more than 10 seconds after passing the last card.
PLEASE NOTE – Additional functions in "Easy" mode are described
in Chapter 8.

PROGRAMMING CARDS IN
"PROFESSIONAL" MODE
● In "Professional" mode, cards can be programmed for each user (or group of us-
ers). This makes it easier to add or remove cards according to need.
● These procedures allow you to program the required number of cards (up to 255,
depending on the BM memory installed), to delete some, to count them, to erase
the entire memory and use other specific functions.
● Execution of procedures in "Professional" mode involves the use of one or two
"MASTER" cards. A "MASTER" card is a normal card that must be programmed
at the start of the "Professional" programming procedure, when the BM memory is
still empty. The following "MASTER" cards can be created:
– "MASTER-1" "MASTER-2": these are alternatives to the "SINGLE MASTER"
card. "MASTER-1" is used to store command no. 1; "MASTER-2" is used to store
command no. 2.
– the "SINGLE MASTER" card is an alternative to "MASTER-1" and "MASTER-2".
It stores on a single card command no. 1, command no. 2 or both commands (no.
1 and no. 2).
PLEASE NOTE – "MASTER-1" AND "MASTER-2" are used to create two sepa-
rate groups of cards (cards in a group can activate only one of the two available
commands). Alternatively, if two sets of cards are not needed, a single card can
be programmed, called the "SINGLE MASTER", which performs the tasks of both
"MASTER-1" and "MASTER-2" and also allows the creation of cards to enable both
commands.
● A "MASTER" card can only be used to program other cards, to erase all program-
ming and to lock or unlock an automation. Thus, it cannot control an automation
in the same way as a normal card. CAUTION! – Do not lose the "MASTER"
cards created.
