8.WARRANTY CONDITIONS

COMMERCIAL WARRANTY

This electric water heater has a reparation warranty of two years, against every manufacturing
defect, including labor and spare parts. And a 5 years warranty in the deposit against
manufacturing defects, that provoke cracks, breaks, or oxidation in the inner of the deposit.
Since the purchase date, that must be justified with the purchase invoice.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

-The appliances used improperly, in a not conform way with the use instructions.
-The appliances dismantled or handled by persons that are not technical service.
-Damage caused by fortuitous causes, accidents of force majeure or derived from improper
installation.
-Appliances in which maintenance recommendations have not been followed.
-Interventions in which the anode has a size reduction greater than 2/3 of the original size or
is covered with lime in its entirety.
-Materials broken or damaged due to wear or normal use of the appliance.
-The operations of maintenance and replacement of consumable elements of the apparatus.
MAINTENANCE OF THE ELECTRICAL WATER HEATER
The thermos deposits are made of vitrified steel. When the tank fills with water, electrolytic
reactions can occur that can corrode the walls. To protect the thermo and extend its service
life the thermostats are equipped with a magnesium anode, replaceable element, whose
function is to absorb the chemical reactions that take place inside the tank, producing the
wear in the anode and not in the walls of the Deposit.
Anode wear depends on the salinity and hardness of the water, and on the material from
which the water supply pipes are made.
EAS ELECTRIC recommends the annual review of the internal anode of electrical water
heaters.
The replacement of the anode must be carried out by the Official Technical Service of
the brand.
