TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
Entire tree does not light.
Entire tree does not light.

One section of tree does
not light.
NOTE: 5-Amp extension cord fuse is different than 3-Amp fuse used in the mini light sets.
CAUTION! – ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR TREE FROM ITS POWER SOURCE BEFORE
ATTEMPTING EITHER FUSE OR BULB REPLACEMENT.
If you are still experiencing problems with the tree, please call 1-800-414-3434 for instructions.
EXTENSION CORD FUSE REPLACEMENT:
(1 replaceable and 1 spare 5-Amp 125 V fuse are located in the plug of the foot pedal extension cord)
This product comes with overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short circuit.
If a fuse blows, unplug tree from wall outlet. Replace the fuse per instructions below (follow product
marking for proper fuse rating). If the replacement fuse blows, a short circuit may be present and the
product should be reviewed to determine the cause.
1.
Unplug product from its power source.
2.
Open access cover on top of plug and locate blown fuse.
3.
Remove blown fuse.
4.
Locate spare replacement fuse inside plug.
Open holder and remove replacement fuse.
5.
Insert new fuse. Close fuse access cover.
CAUTION: To reduce risk of fire, replace fuse in extension cord with 5-Amp 125 volt fuse ONLY.
Do not replace attachment plug. Discard product if the attachment plug is damaged.
LIGHT SET FUSE REPLACEMENT:
(2 replaceable 3-Amp 125 V fuses are located in plug)
1.
Unplug product from its power source.
2.
Open access cover on top of plug and locate blown fuse(s).
3.
Remove blown fuse.
4.
Locate spare fuses in plastic bag.
5.
Insert new fuse(s). Close fuse access cover.
CAUTION: To reduce risk of fire, replace fuse in light set with 3-Amp 125 volt fuse ONLY.
Do not replace attachment plug. Discard product if the attachment plug is damaged.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Extension cord not plugged in.
Foot pedal switch not turned on.
Extension cord fuse is blown.
Tree sections are not securely
connected.
Make sure extension cord is
securely plugged into a working
electrical outlet.
Press foot pedal switch.
Check fuse in extension cord plug
and replace if necessary.
Make sure all plugs within the tree
are securely connected.
