The lift consists of two major pre-assembled components. These
have to be combined before the first operation. First check if all
parts are there: on the left in the illustration you can see the scissors
with their hydraulic jack, on the right the supporting base frame.
Both components are directed towards each other just as they are
bolted together during final assembly. The zinc-plated rod can be
inserted into the frame and prevents the lift from lowering. This
rod must be removed before assembly. Two rollers on the frame
together with a handle on the oppsite side allow for an easy moving
in the workshop.
Check the small parts:
• Lower safety bracket - prevents tipping over. One end mounts with
two M6 bolts to the frame, the other end hooks into a hole in the
frame.
• Upper jack anchor bolt with circlips
• Lower jack anchor bolt with spacers, lockwashers and nuts
• Two hinge bolts which connect the scissors to the frame (incl.
circlips)
• Valve opener rod
• Assembly:
• Position the scissors onto the frame. The Teflon rollers point into
the same direction as the frame transport rollers.
• Insert the hinge bolts 1 into the designated holes and secure with
cotter pins.
• Place jack into scissors as shown in illustration on opposite page
and secure with studs 2 and 3.
• Close the release valve (slotted screw at bottom end of jack) with
the rod
• Pump up lift
