1.
Remove the battery earth cable. Remove the trunk oor in the boot.
Remove the treshold in the boot. Remove the side covers at the lefthand sight of the boot.
Remove the cover behind which a 14-pole connector is situated.
Clear the entrance to both rearlightunits.
2.
Drill a 40 mm hole at the leftback of the trunk oor, at the leftside of the grommet near the wheelbox.
Carefully remove all metal particles and treat the edges with anti-rust.
3.
Lead the end of the 7-pole wiring harness and the two remain wires with each 4 wires through the hole in the middle of the boot
Put the grommet in the hole.
Lead the end of the 7-pole wiring harness between the bumper and the body through the grommet to the socket.
(Careful, hot exhaust!)
Fit the wires as indicated:
Trailer ligting:
Left turn signal
Rearfoglight

Right turn signal
Right taillight
Brakelights
Left taillight
Rearfoglight
Mount the socket to the towbar.
Lead the remaining wires between the bumper and the body to the rearlights.
The other wires are connected to the original wiring with connectors (see gure 1).
4.
Left rearlight:
Cut the wire on position 2 of the 6-pole connector at a distance of 10 cm.
Connect the grey wire to the wire coming from the connector/lamp direction.
Connect the red/yellow wire to the wire from the vehicle direction.
Cut the wire on position 4 of the 6-pole connector at a distance of 10 cm.
Connect the yellow wire to the wire coming from the connector/lamp direction.
Connect the other yellow wire to the wire coming from the vehicle direction.
5.
Right rearlight:
Cut the wire on position 2 of the 6-pole connector at a distance of 10 cm.
Connect the grey wire to the wire coming from the connector lamp/direction.
Connect the red/yellow wire to the wire from the vehicle direction.
Cut the wire on position 4 of the 6-pole connector at a distance of 10 cm.
Connect the green wire to the wire coming from the vehicle direction.
Connect the other green wire to the wire coming from the connector/lamp direction.
Fasten the wiring harness under the car with the included cable binders.
