TEMPERATURE Calibration
This is only done once in a long while, calibration for temperature will remain accurate unless
used under severe conditions.
1. Press ON/OFF Place a standard thermometer in the sample for reference.
2. Place tester into the same sample.
3. Allow some time for sensor to stabilize.
4. Press MODE to select the pH mode.
5. Press CAL.
6. Press HOLD for 5 seconds and wait till screen changes.
7. Use  /  keys to adjust until you reach the correct temperature of your sample according to the reference
thermometer.
8. Press ENT to confirm.
HOLD Function: Freezes the display.
1. Press HOLD to freeze the measurement. 'HOLD' will be displayed.
2. Press HOLD again to release.
MEASUREMENT
1. Press ON/OFF to switch the meter on.
2. Dip the electrode 2 to 3cm into the sample. Stir and let the reading stabilize.
3. Press MODE to view the desired parameter
CHANGING BATTERIES: (performance can be improved when 1 bar battery life remaining)
1. Open battery compartment lid. Remove old batteries noting polarity (flat side of battery is +).
2. Replace with (4) fresh ones. LR44 or A76 batteries
CHANGING THE SENSOR
Electrode Replacement: necessary when calibration fails or when readings are erroneous in new calibration
standards with hydrated electrode sensor and fresh batteries.
1. Grip the ribbed collar with electrode facing you. Twist the collar counter clockwise (Fig A). Save the ribbed tester
collar and O-ring.
2. Pull the electrode off the tester.
3. Align the 4 tabs on the new module with the 4 slots on the tester (Fig B).
4. Gently push the new module onto the slots.
5. Push the smaller O-ring fully onto the electrode.
6. Push the collar over the module and twist it clockwise.
7. Note: Recalibrate your tester after electrode replacement.
Warranty
The waterproof testers are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for 1 year and the electrode module is
warranted for 6 months, unless otherwise stated. If repair, adjustment or replacement is necessary and has not been
